712-324-3252The Sheldon Street Department has five full time staff. This department has a wide variety of responsibilities. They perform every job related to street maintenance. This includes street repair, signage, painting and the cleaning of both storm and sanitary sewers etc. Snow removal and ice control are a high priority during the winter months and while the street department handles the majority of this, all of the Public Works departments help out as needed. There is an “On Call” person available at all times for any emergencies that may arise.
