VALUE of WORK

PERMIT FEE

$0.05 per sq. ft.

RESIDENTIAL
$5.00 - fence, deck, acc. bldg., etc.
$25.00 - garage/room addition, etc.
$100.00 - maximum on a new dwelling

$0.05 per sq. ft.

COMMERCIAL
$35.00 - garage, fence, accessory building. $150.00 - maximum for Principal building

$0.01 per sq. ft.

INDUSTRIAL
$50.00 - garage, fence or accessory building. $250.00 - maximum principal building.

NO PARKING

Central Standard Time -- No vehicle can be parked on any street between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m November 1-April 1. From April to October 31, vehicles can be parked on any street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., unless street is otherwise restricted.

PEDDLERS PERMIT

$5.00 Initial registration (plus $10.00 per day and/or $25.00 per week) or $100 Charge per Year.

*Police Dept. will make initial check for authorization to peddle.

REZONING APPLICATION

$125.00 upon filing, plus all publication costs to be paid in advance before meetings can be held, property description verification (by abstractor), and subsequent recording or filing fees, plus all costs associated with adjoining property owner verification notification. (Fee is not refundable.)

SIDEWALK PERMIT

$5.00 if not included as part of building permit.

SIDEWALK DELAY
AGREEMENT

$25.00 Residential or Commercial plus recording and/or filing fee.

SIGN PERMIT

$25.00 Note: Any sign included as a part of building permit is not subject to a separate fee.

SUMP PUMPS

City fines are collected for sump pumps pumping into the sanitary sewer or other illegal pumping in the amount of $100.00.

WATER METERS

Water meters are available at the person's expense. (Allows water used outside of home to be metered but not charged for sewer.)

YARDWASTE

Leaves may be disposed of at Hills Park at the composting site. No plastic bags, boxes, etc. Only leaves- no twigs, branches, or debris. Branches & twigs can be disposed of at tree dump, on North Washington. They are open all the time if not muddy.
